Ah, the joys of sewing. 90% undoing what you have done and 10% wishing you had better sewing skills.

One idea would be to make some makeup or toiletries bags! You could double it up to make it thicker or even add some lightweight interfacing to bulk it up. You could make so many that EVERYONE gets one for the holidays!

Great idea! There'll be a lot of deep sighing and 'thats nice' but then I can get rid of another couple of metres 😂😂

Hey, I think that print is rad.

I do too :) which is probably why subconscious Claire bought so much of it!

Great work Claire. Sounds like the perfect fabric for a tea cosy.

Wow - beautiful writing and storytelling Claire! What a journey you are on. The seizures sounds horrid - and I always KNEW seeing machines were more complicated than everyone makes out!!! ☺️😘🥴🫣

How about making a couple of cushion covers? Xx

Thanks, glad you like my writing :) been a while since I could grasp a sense of WTF I'm doing.

And I did think about cushion covers! The problem is that this polycotton feels awful, like flexible plastic, and you get sweaty after a while of wearing it/leaning against it. It doesn't breathe. That's why a tote bag worked really well. It's more of a utility fabric, I think. Well the stuff I bought is, but then it was so cheap xx
